About this Event
How do we keep our therapeutic tabletop roleplaying game sessions within an hour? This training will talk about the therapeutic uses for Micro Roleplaying Games and RPG Poems within play therapy, how it helps to develop behavioral change, social relationships, communication, emotional wellness, and personal strengths in general and how to relate them to the powers of play specifically.
Learning Objectives:
1. Describe at least 3 therapeutic powers of play that can be used in therapeutic roleplay gameplay.
2. Identify at least 2 play therapy theoretical approaches that lend themselves well to tabletop roleplaying games.
3. Identify at least two types of play styles appropriate for therapeutic gameplay.
