Playing a Role: Using RPGs to Educate Oneself and Others about Mental Disorders and Issues
A presentation by David Perlman PhD, Medical Ethics, MS, Health Psychology (Clinical Research Project Manager, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia)
About this Event
Recently, as a player, I've explored playing characters with psychopathologies or potential issues of mental health concern. This Q&A would start by describing these playing experiences, their context, and share observations. The audience would then enter into dialogue about best practices, their experiences as a player and/or game master, and engage in mutual learning on an informal basis.
