About this Event

Are you looking to slay the beast of teenage angst and enter the kingdom of companionship with the kids in your traveling party? Do you want to play RPGs with kids, but don't know where to begin? Maybe you wonder how much gore is too much gore, and what happens when they start flirting with the NPCs? Our experienced middle school game masters are back to show you how they set table norms, encourage creativity, mediate disputes, and save the realm from boredom! They're joined by their mentor/teacher, Dr. Maryanne Cullinan to help you become the best teen DM you can be!

Learning Objectives:

1.Participants will learn the importance of norms and routines for a healthy table culture and be able to apply them to their own tables.

2.Participants will be able to evaluate their own routines and systems to see if they are teen friendly and encourage meaningful engagement with players

3.Participants will have the tools to create a more kid friendly RPG experience for teens of all ages.

4.Participants will have an opportunity to have their questions answered frankly by real teen DMs.
