Dr. Sara Roldan brings a unique perspective to her clinical practice, rooted in her Mayan heritage in Guatemala. Holding a Doctoral in Aply Clinical Psychology, a Master's in Homeland Security Emergency Management, and a Bachelor's in Science with minors in Special Education and Neuroscience, she employs a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and ACT. To support marginalized groups, particularly BIPOC, active duty military, first responders, and clients with invisible disabilities.
In her therapy sessions, Dr. Roldan creatively incorporates video games and pop culture, making the therapeutic process not only effective but also relatable and engaging. This innovative approach is reflective of her belief in the power of cultural representation and the importance of integrating one's heritage into the healing journey.
