About this Presenter
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have 4 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings. My practicum at a state hospital gave me hands-on experience with diagnostic assessments and treatment for individuals with serious mental health conditions. I’ve also conducted research on neurodiversity, diagnostic biases, and using immersive technology to support social growth. These experiences have helped me understand how cultural and social factors shape social development and self-perception.
As a neurodivergent individual with social anxiety, I bring a personal and empathetic touch to my work. My own experiences shape the way I approach supporting clients with social and emotional challenges, and I’m passionate about helping others embrace their unique selves.
When it comes to helping my clients build social resilience, I take a multidisciplinary approach, blending immersive virtual learning, social cognitive strategies, and clinical tools to boost confidence and growth.
With my clinical training, personal insights, and love for combining research with real-world application, I’m excited to present on building social resilience through immersive gaming—making it both research-backed and relatable for those navigating similar challenges.
