About this Presenter
Justen graduated from CSU Northridge in 2014. After completing his MSW, he worked with vets on Skid Row and with Forster youth in N. Hollywood. During this time, he had the opportunity to be a research fellow at USC’s School of Cinema, where he focused on game design and mental health. He currently works in private practice, and spends nearly all of his free time with his daughter, coming up with ways to incorporate emotional regulation techniques (like DBT) in fun ways. This is the result of working on some of those experiments with his partner in rhyme, Dustin Garcia.
